We will collect measurements of CO2 and CH4 dynamics across soil depths and in streamwater samples in areas of the Beaver Swamp from uplands to wetlands, and also continuous measurements from the eddy flux tower installed in the Beaver Swamp. These measurements will help to characterize processes that release methane to the atmosphere and processes that transport carbon laterally through upland and wetland soils and into streams.
