  • Abstract:

As ecological habitats change with human development and climate change, it is essential to understand how wildlife populations change with their ecosystems. Beavers are essential members of several river ecosystems, yet tracking beavers is difficult because they glide along the water and often move at night, creating limitations in using traditional wildlife camera technology. This project aims to create a prototype beaver camera trap and test out the device in Harvard Forest.
